Once described as her water-logged years, growing up on the swim team and scuba diving has been the catapult and inspiration of her work today.
Calling Chicago, IL, Madison, WI, and Minneapolis, MN home, Kelsey left her roots in the midwest to further her passion for photography at Brooks Institute. Now located in Santa Barbara, CA, compelled by her wanderlust, she is a strong believer that travel is the only thing you can buy that will make you richer.
Like my personality, so reflects my photography. I find myself at home, not by repetition, but by the discovery of new things.
Water has continued to be more of a home to me than land. I find comfort surrounded by water—where others find unpredictability. If nothing more, through my photographs, I hope to explore the uncertainty and ever-changing world on and beneath the surface.
